Welcome to the ZHDC Marketplace! We’re thrilled you’re joining us and want to make sure you have all the info you need. Here’s what you need to know to get started and succeed with us.
1. Getting Started
Hello! To kick off, here’s how you can start selling:
- Sign-Up: Head over to our vendor registration form here.
- Upload Documents: Please provide a scanned copy of your Aadhaar Card, Address Proof, and a College ID (like your College ID Card, Admit Card, or Fees Slip).
- Verification: We’ll review your documents and activate your account once everything’s verified. A friendly team member will guide you through the setup.
2. Your Responsibilities
Here’s what we need from you to keep things running smoothly:
- Product Listings: Make sure your product details and photos are accurate. Clear listings help customers make informed decisions.
- Shipping: You’ll handle the shipping and associated costs. Although we don’t manage shipping ourselves, we’re here to help if you need assistance.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent service to keep your customers happy. Fast responses and resolving issues promptly make a big difference.
- Compliance: Follow all applicable laws and regulations to ensure everything stays above board.
3. Fees and Payments
Let’s break down how fees work:
- Platform Fees: We don’t charge any registration or sign-up fees. We do take a 10% fee from each sale, which includes a 2.5% charge for payment processing. The remainder is used to support the ZHDC community (up to 5%).
- Payment Timing: Payments are made after a 3-day cooling period post-order completion. Be sure to confirm orders quickly to avoid delays.
4. Returns and Refunds
Here’s the lowdown on returns and refunds:
- Your Policy: You can set your own return and refund policy. If you don’t specify one, our default 3-day return/refund policy will apply. Requests should be made before this period ends.
- Default Policy: If there’s no individual policy, our 3-day return/refund policy is in place. Make sure to communicate your policy clearly to customers.
5. Intellectual Property
We want to protect everyone’s interests:
- Content Usage: By listing products, you give us permission to use your product images and descriptions for promotional purposes. This helps us showcase your products effectively.
- Branding Compliance: Ensure your branding follows our guidelines and respects other brands’ intellectual property.
6. Confidentiality
Your privacy matters:
- Data Protection: We’ll keep your personal and business information safe and only use it as described in this agreement.
7. Ending Your Account
Here’s how to wrap things up if needed:
- Terminating Your Account: You can end your account by notifying us in writing. Please ensure all pending transactions are completed before you do.
- Our Right to Terminate: We may suspend or terminate accounts that don’t follow our terms. We’ll handle this process transparently and professionally.
8. Limitation of Liability
A few important notes on liability:
- Liability Limits: While we strive to provide a great platform, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages related to its use. Our liability is limited as much as allowed by law.
9. Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes:
- Governing Law: This agreement is governed by the laws of India.
- Resolution: We prefer to resolve issues amicably. Legal action should be a last resort after all other options have been tried.
10. Changes to the Agreement
We might update our terms:
- Amendments: We can modify these terms if necessary. We’ll notify you of significant changes, and continuing to use the platform means you accept the new terms.
