Welcome to the ZHDC Marketplace Returns & Refunds Policy. We aim to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. Please read this policy carefully to understand how returns and refunds are handled on our platform.
Note: The ZHDC Marketplace is UNOFFICIAL and is not officially linked to Zakir Husain Delhi College at this time. Future associations may be considered.

General Returns & Refunds Policy

At the ZHDC Marketplace, we strive to provide a seamless shopping experience. However, if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you can request a return or refund under the following conditions:

  1. Return Period:
    • By default, if no specific vendor policy is mentioned, the ZHDC Marketplace policy will apply. You have 3 days from the order completion date to request a return or refund. You will need to request a return / refund within 3 days of order completion.
  2. Return/Refund Request:
    • To initiate a return or refund, you must request it within the 3-day cooling period after the order is marked as completed.
  3. Eligibility:
    • Items must be unused and in the same condition as received.
    • Items must be in the original packaging.
    • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
  4. Refund Process:
    • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
    • If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 24 to 48 hours.

Vendor-Specific Returns & Refunds Policy

Each vendor on the ZHDC Marketplace may have their own specific returns and refunds policy. Please review the vendor’s policy on their product pages before making a purchase. If a vendor’s policy is specified, it will take precedence over the default Marketplace policy.

Default Marketplace Policy:

  • If no specific vendor policy is provided, the default ZHDC Marketplace policy will apply, which includes a 3-day return/refund period from the order completion date.

Important Points

  1. Cooling Period:
    • The 3-day cooling period begins once the order is marked as completed.
    • Refund requests must be made before the cooling period ends to be eligible.
  2. Shipping Costs:
    • Shipping costs for returning items are the responsibility of the vendor.
    • The original shipping cost is non-refundable.
  3. Non-Returnable Items:
    • Certain items, such as perishable goods, custom products, and personal care items, are non-returnable. Please check the product description for details.
  4. Damaged or Defective Items:
    • If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact the vendor directly for a resolution. The vendor is responsible for handling such issues.
