Welcome to the ZHDC Marketplace. By accessing or using our website (shop.zhdc.in), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our site.

Note: This platform is developed and managed by the students of Zakir Husain Delhi College HOWEVER, This website is UNOFFICIAL and not officially linked to Zakir Husain Delhi College at this time. Future associations may be considered.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the ZHDC Marketplace, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, please do not use our site.

2. Account Registration

Vendor Registration:

  • Only active students of Zakir Husain Delhi College are allowed to register as vendors on the ZHDC Marketplace
  • Vendors must register and submit required documents (Aadhaar card, address proof, college ID).
  • Our team will verify the documents before activating your vendor account.
  • Vendors will be assigned a dedicated team member for assistance.

User Registration:

  • Users must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.

3. Use of the Site

You agree to use the ZHDC Marketplace for lawful purposes only. You are prohibited from:

  • Using the site to engage in any illegal activity.
  • Interfering with the security of the site or its users.
  • Using the site to distribute spam or harmful content.

4. Fees and Payments

Vendors:

  • There is ZERO Registration/Signup Fees.
  • We charge a flat 10% platform fee on sales, which includes a 2.5% payment gateway charge. The remaining 7.5% supports the Zakir Husain Delhi College community.

Customers:

  • Prices for products are listed on the site. Payment must be made at the time of purchase.

5. Shipping and Delivery

  • Vendors are responsible for handling shipping and delivery of products.
  • Shipping costs are to be borne by the vendor and communicated to the customer.
  • The ZHDC Marketplace may assist vendors with shipping logistics but is not responsible for the shipping process.

6. Returns and Refunds

  • Returns and refunds are subject to our Refund Policy.
  • Customers must initiate returns within the specified period.
  • Vendors must handle returns and process refunds in a timely manner.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the ZHDC Marketplace, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of ZHDC Marketplace or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use of the content is prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

The ZHDC Marketplace is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangibles.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold the ZHDC Marketplace, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, agents, and employees harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of your use of the site or violation of these Terms & Conditions.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
